Dr. Adrian Connolly
Dr. Adrian L. Connolly received a degree in psychology from Seton Hall University in 1971 and went on to obtain his M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1975. He obtained his training in dermatology at New York University Skin and Cancer Unit and was the Chief Resident there in 1979. He studied Mohs Micrographic Surgery under Dr. Michael Albom at New York University Medical Center. Dr. Connolly has been performing the Mohs Micrographic Surgery procedure since 1979.
Dr. Connolly is board certified in Dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and he was recertified in dermatology in 2000 and 2010, one of only a few practicing dermatologists to take and pass this rigorous recertification exam. He has taught Dermatologic Surgery at both New York University Medical Center and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and is currently a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has been a member for over 35 years.
Dr. Connolly has been named to the “Best Doctors in New York and New Jersey” by both New York Magazine and the Castle-Connolly Guide, and he been quoted in the press and appeared on television in reference to skin cancer therapy. He was Chief of the Section of Dermatology at the St. Barnabas Medical Center for many years and is currently an active member of the following professional societies:
